Rep. Karen Bass to be dinner keynote

LMBA is excited to announce that Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) will join us as the keynote speaker at the 2020 Philip L. Burton Memorial Scholarship Dinner. Rep. Bass is is currently running for her sixth term representing the 37th District. She serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs where she is the Chair of the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations. Rep. Bass also serves as the Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.
