Judge Jack Tanner, Loren Miller Bar Association Founder, had a Tacoma park renamed in his honor last year. On June 1, 2019, Metro Parks Tacoma and the City of Tacoma will host a ceremony to celebrate and dedicate the newly renamed Judge Jack Tanner Park, on the city’s Ruston Way waterfront. The event is open to the public and it would be great to have a large contingent of LMBA members in attendance at this special event. Speakers include Park Board President Aaron Pointer, Mayor Victoria Woodards, Puyallup Tribal Council Chairman Bill Sterud, and a member of Judge Tanner's family.
