The law firm of Foster Garvey PC is seeking an experienced tax principal-level attorney to join its tax practice in the Portland office, which works on significant projects in a collaborative manner. This position will provide the attorney with a full-service bi-coastal platform to attract and grow a book of business, as well as the opportunity to provide hands-on day-to-day close counseling of the firm’s existing clients on state and federal income tax matters, including, structuring sophisticated transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors. The candidate will have the opportunity to work regularly with talented attorneys in a wide variety of practice areas across the firm’s five offices.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in federal, state and local corporate, partnership and individual income tax matters, including planning and controversy.
