Public Finance Associate

Pacifica offers legal counsel and services to clients regarding public financing, real estate and construction, appellate and civil litigation, and project counseling.


We are looking for a motivated associate attorney to join our busy and growing public finance practice in Seattle, Washington.


Pacifica’s public finance practice consciously takes a team-based approach to client management and to each transaction. The successful candidate will be part of a group serving as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and disclosure counsel for a wide range of transactions, including governmental, multifamily and 501(c)(3) financings. This position provides opportunities for satisfying client contact and work on complex, interesting transactions that are influencing and shaping the Pacific Northwest.




We are looking for an associate with one to three years of experience in public finance, municipal law or representing municipal agencies, but will also consider candidates with experience in a relevant transactional practice such as securities, corporate finance, real estate or tax law. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters and have top academic credentials. Superior written and oral communication skills, exceptional judgment, professionalism and interpersonal skills are also critical. Candidates must be admitted to practice, and ideally bar certified in the State of Washington.
