Reporting directly to the elected Insurance Commissioner, the incumbent serves as the leader of the Executive Management Team to develop and monitor progress toward the strategic goals and operational objectives of the elected official. The incumbent provides analyses and recommendations to the Commissioner on agency-wide policy and strategic direction, as well as advising on highly sensitive or political issues. Manages $76 million budget and 269 FTEs.
