Assistant Court Administrator

As a senior, executive-level position, the Assistant Court Administrator manages and leads court operations, working closely with the fifteen Superior Court Judges and five Court Commissioners, other branches of government as well as state and county departments. This position is at-will and reports directly to the Superior Court Administrator. The position is critical to the Court's mission, goals and the efficient delivery of services of the Superior Court. The Snohomish County Superior Court has an annual budget of $31 million and employs approximately 180 staff.

Superior Court Mission:
 The mission of the Snohomish County Superior Court is to actively manage the business of the court as to provide for fair, prompt, and efficient resolution of disputes; to provide due process and individual justice in each case; and to maintain independence and parity as an equal branch of government.

About you:
 You have worked in the courts, law, or public administration.  You have experience as a senior manager and communicate well with all levels of staff, the public, and judicial officers. You're a big-picture thinker who can problem solve and resolve conflicts among people with differing interests. You are adept at giving feedback in a direct way so that coaching efforts are received in a positive manner and lead to the growth of your staff.
